After preparing by learning about George Washington, they were excited to step into history, by touring his mansion and walking the beautiful grounds.

Family Fitness Night fun! 💪🎉
Our families came together for an evening full of movement, laughter, and connection. From yoga and Zumba to HIIT and group games, children and parents enjoyed staying active and spending time with friends.

🎶 Geology Rocks! 🎭
Before the break, our Elementary students took the stage and delivered an incredible musical performance for parents and peers: Geology Rocks! From confident singing to expressive acting, to creating their own costumes and scenography. They brought the entire production to life with creativity and teamwork!

Our Voices for Montessori on Capitol Hill ✨💙
In addition to attending the conference, Mr. Ben, Ms. Melissa Ann, and Ms. Vicki had the opportunity to take Montessori beyond the classroom and onto Capitol Hill. Alongside Jihane Mrad, Vice President of the Virginia Montessori Association and Springs parent, and fellow Montessori advocates, they met with staff members from the offices of Tim Kaine and Don Beyer to share the value of Montessori education and advocate for greater access for all children.
As part of a nationwide effort with advocates from 23 states, it was a meaningful day of connection, collaboration, and purpose. We are grateful for the opportunity and excited for what lies ahead for Montessori education. 🧡
Practical Life: The Foundation of Confidence ✨
When children are invited to participate in real work—pouring, cleaning, preparing food, caring for their environment—they develop far more than practical skills. Through these everyday tasks, they build independence, concentration, responsibility, and a deep sense of capability.
In Montessori, Practical Life activities help children discover that “I can do it myself.” And that feeling of competence becomes the foundation for confidence that carries far beyond the classroom.
